Pre-Christmas

Today was our Wednesday Girls' pre-Christmas lunch at the Golf Club, (only ten allowed due to covid restrictions, so I was lucky to be invited), organised as usual by Marion.  It was lovely and festive, and so much chatter, good to see everyone and catch up.  The food was lovely, a choice of turkey, roast beef or grilled sea bream (which I had and was delicious).  I have put on an extra of my lunch.  Followed up by tea/coffee and mince pies..... and of course the wine was flowing.  I was a bit squiffy in the end.

The HG has been on a recce for the club, so expect him home some time soon, but they might have gone to the pub after for a bit of Christmas cheer.
