More mist

We woke up to another marvellous, misty morning. 

When we got to the park we realised that much of the scene beyond the lake was pretty well hidden by the mist.  A few moments later, when we had walked part of the way round the lake (which isn't very big), we realised that we could no longer even see the other side of the water - the mist had thickened really quickly. 

My blip shows the foreground grasses at the edge of the lake and, in the distance - barely visible, a group of gulls sitting or standing on the half frozen water.  It was quite magical.

A short while later, the mist started to lift again and I could see hazy trees on the the other side of the lake and the sun trying to break through (see extra).

A wonderful morning.
