King & Queen Sparkle

Today's image is of the King & Queen pub in East Malling. Despite it being closed, due the current Covid-19 Tier 3 restrictions in our area, they have still chosen to put up their Christmas lights to help the village feel festive. 
Today I managed a four mile walk, a set of weights in my gym (well my garage actually - trying not to crash into everything else we keep in there) and made a pea, feta and basil tart.
I've also nearly finished my latest book - Between the Stops by Sandi Toksvig - it's the view of her life from the top of the number 12 bus as she travels across London. It's travel writing crossed with a memoir and I thoroughly recommend it - it's funny, sad, fascinating and thought provoking.
