Shelly on the Couch

Added some texture and darker values to this drawing. Pretty soon I’ll paint it. Today there were seven of us artists at Trish’s zoom class. I loved what folks did for their cloisonné exercise. I was especially blown away by the new gal who recently joined us. She is new to painting but her painting didn’t seem like it was done by a newby at all. The gals in the class are such amazing artists. We are all women so far though men have definitely participated in the live open studios back before Covid.
