Floored

Chobham Common is divided into North and South by the M3. Today I explored the more wooded South side around the Fishpool, a small fishing lake.

I spotted this clump of fungi which had been detached from the main clump almost as soon as I entered the wood, and immediately turned round back to the car to collect the tripod. These are probably Sulphur Tuff, and I just love the textures of the gills.
