Invisible!

As a child I wore glasses.

Whenever a camera was produced my mum would say (or shout) " Take your glasses off and put your hair over your ears." Apparently my ears stuck out too!!

In the majority of photos of me as a child I have one hand behind my back - clutching my glasses.

Later, in my late teens I started wearing contact lenses and much later still I had laser surgery to correct my short sight.

Now I am at the stage where I really ought (need) to wear reading glasses, but the echo of my mum's words still lingers.

Imagine my delight at finding these in Primark today at the princely sum of £2.00

Nobody will be able to see I'm wearing them.
