I do not know whether to post this, but Henry was so beautiful that I want to share him with the world. Some how it does not feel right just to stop posting and not to tell you all about him.

Our beautiful son Henry was born at 2.31pm by emergency c-section on 25.02.09 and weighed 6lb 6 and our world fell apart. After initially being told he was brain damaged and would be severely disabled, we were then told that he had no brain function at all and there was nothing that they could do.

Henry was taken off the ventilator and we held him and cuddled and kissed him until he died in my arms at 11.20am on 26.02.09 with his family all around him. I wish I could live those hours we had with him over and over for the rest of my life.

We still don't really have any answers as to why this has happened - we may never have- but it is like being in a nightmare that you cannot wake up from. We just have to keep going for Henry's sake so his memory stays alive through us.

Our darling son Henry, we love you and miss you more than we can say.
