Empty space
No geese; no mallards; no herons; nothing that you would expect to see had I blipped the North Chagrin Reservation in warmer weather. Today it was just snow-covered ice and a sense of solitude.
Cold again today with a high temperature around 24 Fahrenheit, but the biting wind I experienced yesterday was missing today. For that I was glad. We were at North Chagrin because Gulliver had a vet appointment near there, and there was just enough light left after his appointment to grab a few blips. I encountered two other walkers on the trail; otherwise, solitude reigned.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by yesterday to comment on my little brown bird diptych and wish me a happy birthday.
