Day 269 Tier 3 day 9
We had to take the car up for its first service today - we bought it at the end of November last year and it has only done 1023 miles. Says a lot about the year. Walking back I wondered where I had put my keys - not in my pockets - not in my bag. KG told me to to carry on and he went back to look to see if they had fallen out in the car. Of course I couldn't get in NO KEYS. As we live where you can approach from either end and I wasn't sure which way he would come I waited on the corner. No the keys were not in the car. OH DEAR. Said I would walk back and said I will wear my fleece this time. As I took my coat off I heard a rattle the keys had fallen into the lining from a hole in the pocket. I never put them in the right hand pocket but did today. Great relief and we didn't have to change all the locks
After all this excitement carried on with doing my project - made it more difficult for myself as I hadn't cut the green pieces out but shall do that tomorrow (itf nothing else interrupts)
The elves were very good today and supervised the proceedings .I thanked them nicely and told them they were good elves
As I left I heard them muttering it is boring being good but it was nice of Mrs P to thank us.
A lovely sunshiny morning that soon turned dull and gloomy - but. mild
