The Gathering

Hairdressers this morning when I got home KG went for a walk.  When he got back he said that was silly as he was walking  to the sports centre this afternoon
He asked me to scan a document so that we could fill it in on the computer – nothing doing scanner would not scan to computer and scanning as a PDF didn’t allow me to get it into word. GRR.
So that took most of my afternoon.
 
The elves were very excited
Elf we have friends coming for a party today Safety said
We are going to have cake and nibbles and play games.
My dear Safety said elf – I am afraid it is against the law to have a party (unless you live in No 10 and we don’t.  We can have a gathering thought that is OK
Oh Elf they will be so disappointed  - nobody will know if we have party.
Well Safety these things have a way of getting out and I don’t think we ought to break the law.
 
Well it is fair to say that Elf and Safety had their gathering and no food was eaten or games played
 
They assured me no rules were broken
 
A lovely morning but cold  3° when I switched the car engine on but a damp afternoon
