A Long Day for the Botanical Garden

A three hour virtual meeting this morning with EPA/DEQ and various others, as well as many from our team. Followed by a 2 hour site visit. Fortunately the rain held off until the very last few minutes. Or, was it that we left because it started to rain?

In any event, we're still delighted with the site, regardless of the hurdles and challenges of being a Superfund site. The project is perfect for the site and will reuse it in a way that will allow the public access to land that was formerly an industrial, toxic wasteland. There's a lot of work to do...more on that later. And of course it will cost a lot of money. We're hoping to find a donor (or several) who would like a legacy project. 

For now, I'm COLD (high of 42F/5.5C) and ready for a cup of tea by the fire! Have a lovely evening everyone!
