Blickling

A trip to Blickling Hall, a local National Trust property.    There is a good second hand bookshop there which W likes to browse for ‘Classics’ books, as they often have ones that help with her studies.  This old house is on the estate and always looks attractive, although I’m not sure what it would be like to live in (or even whether anybody does).

Because of the current restrictions the main house was not officially open but a number of volunteers had decided to open part of it and to provide Christmas decorations of their own.  They had done a really good job considering they had not been given a budget from National Trust to cover what they did.  A couple of extras; bubbles in a sink, and the house itself looking rather wet.
