The staff of life

It was worth the move to Norfolk for this alone; dangerously good bread from our local bakery.

A slow blip day.  A visit to town for a bit of shopping, and a call to the builders to look at different choices for the kitchen work surface as the one we originally chose is stuck on a ship somewhere and unlikely to get here in time.  We actually prefer the ones we’re seeing now but it depends on whether they can source them in time to not delay the build; we definitely want to complete by March to get the benefit of the Stamp Duty holiday.  We had a look at the house while we were there as we can now get a bit closer to it; it looks like the ‘first fix’ is under way as we could see cables for the exterior lighting sticking out.  I’ve added an extra of what it now looks like.
