Cast of Thousands

Some times I walk past this shelf of the bookcase and wonder what I have been thinking for the past couple of years. They are multiplying all the time! I must get round to some proper shots which was the reason excuse for buying them in the first place.

Minor setbacks on the road to happiness over the past few days, I say minor but in fact it was more of a landslide that threatened to block the way forever but a path was sought and found.

To celebrate we cooked curry of awesome proportions from Pushpesh Pant's fantastic 'India Cookbook' and the n watched 'The Sweeney'. Which wasn't too bad, a bit ridiculous in places and I'm not sure how much scrutiny the plot would hold up to but mildly enjoyable fun. What we didn't realise however was that in fact NUFC were playing on ESPN and we could have watched 90 minutes of football with only 1 goal from a 64th minute penalty.
