Happy birthday to me!

A very slow start to my big day (!) after an unexpectedly big night last night. Book group is not normally a sedate sober affair, but last night was unusually wine-soaked. So, a late start to the morning's packing for our trip, putting us on the road about 4 hours late.....

First stop on the trip is my brother's place in Manchester. They've had an extension built on their house, and this raised deck is part of it - perfect for a quiet drink at the end of the day. A quiet dinner out with them rounded an odd birthday off very nicely.
