It's All About Family

Today's image is a family collaboration. The coat is my sister's, the model is my brother and the idea is a combination of an image on a postcard by the photographer Amak Mahmoodian (from the brilliant publishers RRB photo books), a cover of a British Journal of Photograph magazine entitled "FAMILY" and a technique learned from a Sky Arts documentary series called Icon: Music Through The Lens - you pre-focus the lens when it is too dark to focus in poor light conditions and your image should still be in sharp where you want it to be.
