How?

How can you dry the wood in the microwave, turn it, leave it 2 days, put a finish on it and THEN it moves and refuses to fit?
Not these two - they behaved themselves, which makes it even worse because they are made from the same wood as the other two.

How can you spend hours doing "stuff" and have nothing to show for it?

How can somebody make personalised clocks and then send them out with the wrong sized mechanism? .......... and then when the fault is pointed out send out exactly the same 'replacement' mechanism!

How can so many people fail to use their mirrors (or eyes) in a car park?

How is it that everyone thinks I am an alcoholic and insist on gifting me whisky for my birthday?
Ahh well -  I am now sitting having a dram to try and deplete the stocks so I can fit that last bottle in the drinks cabinet.
