So many lights

Early walk, breakfast and packed the car. We have drained the water from the cottage and turned off the oil and power and left it winter ready, which is why we went. Hopefully we will be back in a few weeks but if not we know it will be fine.
Delivered Christmas gifts on the way home and got quite damp as we didn’t go indoors at any house.
Roads were quiet, although it rained all day.
Got home and it was dry so walked Hetty in the dark, at 5 o’clock and was very surprised to come across a very large group carol singing, she wasn’t very happy with them so we turned and took a different route. So many houses had lights outside, it was quite magical. This snowman was entertaining some children as it was moving and also taller than me.
People seem to be making so much effort this year, it’s lovely to see. Putting our tree up tomorrow.
