Scouting heritage

When we were at summer camp we used popsicle sticks to check the scouts in and out. I still have these popsicle sticks. Waste not want not tells me that I can save these sticks for using when I need to spread glue, or plant seedlings, or shim things.
So occasionally one of the “boys” will assist me in a chore. And I thank them in my mind, and wonder what they are doing now, and pray for their safety.
