Its beginning to feel a bit like...

Christmas!

Its is the earliest we've ever had a tree up, normally it is a few days before Christmas. Pester power won, good job as well, the Christmas tree 'shop' (farmer with a side business) was very nearly sold out. He normally sells 800 trees, he's sold 1,200 this year and was going to sell the remaining few by lunch time. A plus side, was that the farmer had his tractor and combine parked in the barn we had to go in to pay, the youngest asked the farmer where the header for the combine was, and got himself an invitation to see it in action in the summer.

Rest of the day has been spent decorating the house and (finally!!!) Getting the spare bed put together after moving back in April! It hasn't exactly been a priority seeing as there is zero chance of any visitors at the moment.

The picture is of the reindeer who, apparently, must look out of the window, I don't know why. We also have a Christmas soldier looking out of another window......

Today I'm grateful for
Family day at home, quiet and homely
The enthusiasm of the tree decoration by the boys!
The puppy starting to be a lite less hectic and calming down just a little.
