A time for everything

Reflections

Saturday
We awoke to a wet morning,, but as the morning progressed it seemed more like an April morning with April showers. At times you could look out the back of the house and the sky would be almost uniformly grey, yet if you looked out the front the sky would be predominantly blue., but with such clouds as there were moving really fast. By early afternoon, the blue sky seemed to be winning, and checking the radar, the rain seemed to have moved on past us, so we went out to get some exercise, back to Sharon Woods, since the path is paved. By this time the clouds were just beautiful, and strikingly reflected in the water, as you can see in my blip. I wasn’t feeling quite so energetic today, so we just stuck to the trail around the lake, and skipped the gorge. Afterwards, I dropped Roger off at the house, then went out to do a bit of shopping. I wanted to go to Barnes and Noble book store which was successful, and Bath and Bodyworks, which wasn’t- they had a special sale on today, and because they are limiting numbers in the shop at one time, there was quite a line of people waiting outside, and sale or no, I wasn’t in the mood for standing in line for what could have been quite a while! We also enjoyed phone calls with both our daughters today. This evening we had Indian take-out, and watched a very enjoyable streamed holiday concert by the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra
