The Well Known ‘Tale Of The Christmas Zebra’

As so many of our regular Christmas ‘traditions’, mainly involving mulled wine have been cancelled this year, my friend K and I decided we would have an evening in Pocklington. One of the delicatessens was serving take away mulled wine and we thought we would wander the late open shops and the Christmas lights around town.

The mulled wine was delicious, the company was great but the shops and decorations were a complete disappointment and there was no buzz at all as there was no one around.

Sushi’s favourite shop, Root, that sells all kinds of indoor plants, had certainly used their artistic talent to try to make their window display Christmassy with their version of the well known Tale of the Christmas Zebra!
