Cocoon

Up and out to Coburg House Studios this morning and was very pleased to buy this limited edition print by Astrid Trugg....have been following her for a while and love her paintings. Enjoyed looking around the other stalls and got another present then a wander around the farmers’ market and supermarket before over to the garden centre for a browse. Didn’t see anything that sparked interest mind you, but enjoyed my free coffee (shortbread not crisp enough for my liking unfortunately).
Home and was going to walk into town but ended up getting some stuff online instead and spent ages designing some photo gifts which I was quite pleased with but took so long to do.
Mt called whilst they were having lunch and it was good to see H’s leg is getting better and she’s gradually finding it easier to get around. AR very excited that it’s her birthday tomorrow and keen to tell me how to spell lots of ‘tricky words’ (like ‘the’) that she’s been doing now she’s isolating and has to work through homework and video calls from her teacher.
Got set up to wrap some presents and make some flavoured vodka for others, then down to the bookshop for a browse and to order some hard to find books. Home and more wrapping before an evening of TV and knitting....largely brain free day!
