Unicorn

Today is AR’s 5th birthday, and she decided to go full unicorn for the day...cake, dress, light up headband, the lot. Whilst they were just at home themselves they had fun with Lego and playdoh, a piñata and a huge unicorn cake and I joined in to sing to her in the morning and at cake and presents time. She was very self assured and calmly happy...lovely! Mx was enjoying it too...started the day as Batman and finished as a fireman. He definitely likes dressing up!
I had a much quieter day than them. Some REF reading, present wrapping, made dried orange slices for gift tags and bottled the flavoured vodka, quick trip to the supermarket and wrote some Christmas cards.
Supper was a white lasagne from the farmers’ market yesterday....broccoli and Italian sausage. Tasty.
