Donald and Daisy

We were expecting visitors today, but they phoned early and cancelled, so we had a Sunday for us! Decided to "go Foreign" and drive to Arcen (Holland) and cross the Maas on the ferry ( about 5 minutes) and go the the Rose Village. There we bought two roses, one called "Candlelight" which we have been searching for for a couple of years. On the return we stopped at the Pancake Resturant (over 250 different sorts) and I had Apple with Raisons and powder sugar and L had a cheese , ham and mushroom one. They are seriously large and I struggled to finish mine , whereas L didn't !Finish it I mean.
Halfway through eating, these came to visit, wandered around the tables, seeing if anything was being offered, it wasn't, so they left, but not before posing for their portrait.
