Row row, row your boat.

Lovely sunny morning, chilly and a bit breezy. After breakfast we got dressed in our Sunday Best and took ourselves off to Rees. Parked and walked through the Town and returned along the Rhein Promenade. Halfway we stopped and had a welcome Hot Chocolate and watched the Rhein. Pretty high and hardly any traffic. Then along came a Kayak and then this Canadian canoe, 6 paddlers and a steerman. That is a very big river and a very small boat ! A few seconds afterwards they paddled into shore, quickly, as a 3000 ton Bulk Carrier came charging up river. I don't know who had Right of Way, but they were not going to argue!
