Ribblehead Viaduct
Well, after having a raised temp (38.2) yesterday and sleeping for most of the day and then all night - with the window wide open - I got up at 6.30 am and told Frank I wanted to go with him and Bella for a nice walk to get some fresh air into my lungs?
Frank had already been planning to drive to Ribblehead Viaduct so we set off at 8am.
It was pouring down and icy cold and I kept a scarf around my mouth the whole time. We didn't go far as it was just too wet and cold but Bella loved it and didn't want to go home. When she doesn't want to go home she finds a spot and has a 'sit in'. She will stick at this protest for ages and once last year we walked quite a way back to the car and started the engine and still she sat. In the end, today Frank had to walk back and put her lead on to drag her back on to the track. Funny dog, she has so many funny little ways.
Ribblehead viaduct is an amazing structure built by the Midland Railway, between 1870-1875 to span the challenging terrain across Batty Moss moorland.

I have travelled over it many times on the train up to Carlisle and Scotland.
Back home we had a shower and got into warm clothes - me in my onesie - and had tea and toast.
I don't know what the raised temp was about yesterday but I feel OK today. I don't know whether I should be getting a test or not. Our neighbour said in her office of 6, 3 people have tested positive for Covid. The company she works for provides cleaners for schools, hospitals and care homes.
Thanks for all your lovely comments, stars and faves.
Enjoy your Sunday - I'm going to knit today and maybe watch a film. Frank is playing guitar and singing carols which I am joining in with harmonies now and then :-DX
