All Patched Up…
…and not just Lucy’s jacket which I brought home to fix last time I was there.
Sabrina sent me a photo of a very swollen shin this morning, she had slipped yesterday and cracked her leg against a metal frame. She said it was excrutiatingly painful but she wasn't going to go to A+E. I said she should incase a DVT develops or an infection. So she did and the Xray showed a fracture. She has to wear a knee high support boot.
She is the 2nd in the past week to have a mishap! My son Marc jumped from a second step a few days ago and jarred his hip - the one he had broken when he was 14 in a road accident (he was crossing the road and an artic lorry hit him) he also went to A+E and he has a fracture too but they said it would heal itself but he must not walk far and rest it as much as possible. What an accident prone family I have!
For the first time I used my bus pass today to post THAT parcel in Skipton. The PO accepted it without the barcode ;-). The bus was a bit too packed for my liking but I sat on one of those sideways flip down seats at the very front so I could get a blast of air each time the doors opened.
Skipton looks lovely and Christmassy and the market was on.
I did the bit of sewing when I got back then had a rest. I still need to wrap presents but they can wait until tomorrow.
That’s all for now.
Goodnight :-)X
