His mum's not going to be very happy

This is Rosina (youngest daughter) talking on Skype with her brother Luke (youngest son) who lives in China where he teaches English.

It is the first time we have had a chance to speak with Luke since Xmas day 2 months ago. We each spoke with him for about 45 minutes and it was wonderful to catch up after so long but his mum was not around. She is travelling back from Darlington today and is going to be so peeved that she missed him.

Still, if all goes to plan he will be home for 2 weeks at the end of March. It's our 30th wedding anniversary and the whole family is going to devon for a long weekend. That should make her feel better.
