Joy

The third Sunday in Advent is sometimes referred to as "Gaudete" Sunday. It's almost Christmas, so the mood of watching and fasting lightens up a bit and rejoicing is encouraged.

A little joy and light are welcome today as outside it has been very wet and very gloomy. Even Jess was asking to come inside at about 2 o'clock. I haven't been out for a walk this afternoon, but instead have finished writing my Christmas cards and now that the sun has set (at a quarter to 4) Im going to go and light the fire and turn on the Christmas tree lights :-)
