Gorse

Today's the day ………………………… to kiss your beloved

I blipped some yellow gorse last year and when I did a bit of googling, I found that apparently it is said that - 'you should only kiss your beloved when gorse is in flower'.

Now I don't know who said it, or why it should be so - but the good news is that gorse is pretty much in bloom whatever the time of year.  It was certainly in flower today and doing its best to cheer up a pretty colourless, damp sort of a day. 

So, if you have a beloved to hand, you can go off and kiss away without any fear of retribution ………………………….?!
