Too Early

Our Christmas Lilies are just about in full flower.. too early for Christmas. And with all the heat we are expecting this week, they may all be gone by Christmas Day.

John got a phone call from the hospital yesterday as they had a cancellation and wondered if he could come in at 10 this morning. He has been seeing a private specialist about his back and leg pain. The steroid injection he had few weeks ago didn't seem to help. Then a couple of days ago he noticed a slight improvement. We don't have health insurance and seeing he may have to have a operation the private specialist got him on the waiting list for the public hospital. They found he has a cyst at the base of his spine that is pressing on a nerve.

Seeing he had a slight improvement they are going to wait another month and see how he goes. Good he is in the public system now. Normally it takes months if not years to get on it.
