Exploring Kitten

This morning I went shopping for my mother and her carer. 

My "shopper of the day" was an elderly lady at the checkout in front of me. After all her groceries had been scanned and the total announced, she asked the cashier: "Do you have any oatmeal in this shop?" The cashier said where to find it, so the lady went off to get some oatmeal. 
The queue collectively sighed, and waited.

Several minutes later, she came back with the oatmeal. The cashier scanned the bag. Then, the lady said "I need to use your customer toilet now". Apparently there was no time to pay first, she simply left all her shopping lying on the checkout and disappeared with the toilet key. 

The queue started to break up and reassemble at the second checkout. I was next, so I waited. But at least two of the people from behind me in the queue were out of the shop before the lady had finally paid and collected her groceries...
