Matching Boots and Biscuits.

More horrible weather, so I decided to do some baking. One of the things I made was Spekulaas - spicy Dutch biscuits. I normally buy them from a well-known budget supermarket but have been unable to get out for them this year so I thought I’d make my own.
As I’d given my beloved warm winter boots a pounding of late, to the extent that the soles are letting in water, I decided to splash out on some new ones. I wasn’t expecting them until tomorrow but they arrived today. They are exactly the same colour as my biscuits
