An eventful morning!

John unable to do a lot of walking today as he had a sore ankle. Chloe and I went down the wood first thing . I attempted to fill the bird feeders we put up down there. Big mistake...... I tried to balance on a ( slippy) log and ended up falling backwards on to another log. Loud crack as my head came into contact with it. Got home safely and decided to have a quiet day!

Fifi and wee A came over. Just what I needed. We wrapped up and sat inside the front door and Fifi sat in the vestibule while A played on the floor. We would have never imagined doing this during Winter a year ago!

As F and A we’re leaving Annette delivered our Christmas card. We had a lovely chat with her too.

This afternoon Chloe has been bounding about after her ball in the garden. We certainly have not managed our usual steps today.

A lovely bunch of yellow roses arrived on the doorstep tonight from a neighbour. Andrew also had a lovely party hamper delivered all ready for his work’s virtual Christmas night in tomorrow night.
