A gift to me

I met up with six of my classmates from high school today for an outdoor lunch. It was chilly but we sat under the restaurant’s outdoor heater so we were not cold. They were serving a great soup today so we had something warm to eat!

A old friends do we had an ornament exchange game. It was fun the pass gifts left and right and steal from each other. I ended up with this country church ornament which so reminds me of the church in Calhoun Falls that I photograph every time I go that way. I told the ladies I would try to find a photo so they can see how much the churches look alike.

A really heart warming day as we usually try to get together every month. It was wonderful to chat and laugh together. Hoping next year we can get back on the regular schedule!
