Breakfast time
I mostly see the birds at the platform feeder in the morning. The visitors include a family of doves, cardinals, blackcapped chickadees, Carolina wrens, and various other small birds.
My favorite to watch and one of the hardest to catch a photo of is this red bellied woodpecker. But today I had the 300mm camera within reach and was able to get a couple of photos through the window. I had to sneak around to the side of the window as the reflection in the glass was not good for photos from my chair. I got about 7 shots before it flew off...about 10 seconds worth of seeing. It did move around so I got a shot of each profile. He might have been posing!
Makes me happy!
