Show Stopping Floral Gateway

I was driving down a residential street in my hometown and when I saw this pair of gate posts and their wonderful flowers I had to stop and back up the car and hop out and take a picture. They reminded me of hollyhocks, but not really sure what they were! Just knew they were eye catching.

This was so picturesque and the flowers were so lovely I knew it was my blip for the day!
