Earlier today...

... before the latest news was announced. This husband and wife team were doing a grand fundraising job in the high street.

Speaking to Valerie this morning and we both went away from the phone call feeling positive and that after her biopsies, (she will now have two on Christmas Eve) we could make a day trip to see her and Neil on Christmas Day. Not now though.

So many people will be feeling so disappointed this evening. We know why these restrictions have to be put into place but it hurts. Tonight we’re holding onto what Christmas is about. That tiny baby Jesus born at Christmas, would later know real pain. He understands ours.
