Fun on the river

Near the end of our walk today, we spotted this kayaker on the river. It looks like fun, except that the temperature is only in the mid-40s. Snow is forecast for tomorrow and Tuesday. Did someone forget to tell the weatherman that SPRING HAS SPRUNG?

An FYI for those who read my blip yesterday and shuddered over the description of my evening meal...I didn't suffer any ill effects, but I'm sure I must have gained five pounds at least. Will I never learn?
