CUMULONIMBUS

I went out to watch the sunrise this morning, which wasn't very spectacular but is unlikely to be visible at all tomorrow (Solstice) according to the forecast. More interesting was this to the west, with the anvil catching the early light. Now to get on with some chores, and maybe some garden tidying while it's not raining.

Fortunately our plans for Christmas haven't changed (stay in, ignore the world), but I feel so sorry for those who've had to cancel and change plans yet again. And for those who, like a friend in Cornwall, have had their houses flooded and are having to deal with cleaning up and sorting all that out on top of everything else.
