Not such an ugly duckling

12 days of Christmas 
   Day 8.


As it was such a lovely sunny day we decided to spread our wings and took the doggies for
a walk to the Mere, really muddy underfoot and in some places over the foot.The swans were very friendly and came right up to us, looking for food I think, quite a few fishermen camped up on the banks fishing for carp. 

After a good walk around the water we decided to walk home via the road, a few cars going into Scarborough but not very busy.

Back home I wrapped a few more presents and Mr PC watched the footie, not his team their match was on BT sport.

Settling down for the evening and watching a program on catch up. 

Last nights viewing is one of my favourite films ‘Shawshank redemption’  with Morgan Freeman.
