Sushi sunday!!!

We had sushi lunch, me and hubby as our daughter had good time with her friend elsewhere. Absolutely brilliant meny in our neighborhood sushi restaurant today - a different kind of meny than in every day time. The restaurant will be closed for four days during Christmas season, so it was now nice to visit there.

Shopping food for Christmas today. I am not beginning to make everything myself. Fish will be home smoked, and gravlax too will be homemade. I also will grill some moose steak for Christmas. I wonder, if I should bake something else than gingerbreads...

I noticed that my son and his girlfriend finally had decided where to spend their Christmas. Very difficult to decide now, as the Corona virus situation in Finland is varying from region to another - and her both parents live in not as contaminated area as Tampere. It seems that out son will stay home and she will travel. I am not sure if it is wise now, but I guess she will cope. Virus rates are still high, but getting down here. The worst regions have informed about quite thorougful lockdown continuing until 10.1.21 at the moment - and in these areas Christmas should be spent with only closest family members.

My knee is far better today. It is more unpredictable now than before though, as it can very easily be hyper extended. And doing so, it hurts a lot. But I can walk now. Quite normally actually, when using metallic knee support, with no hyper extendension. Happy, happy, happy!!!
