Heat Vent

A thin layer of ice covers the marsh grasses, well not entirely. It seems as though nature has a way of keeping open a path to the atmosphere. But, for me I suppose its the shapes and textures that interest me and how they work together or play off one another.

I had some difficulty in getting the colour balance to work in this image. There were some cast shadows, and other areas more brightly lit, that produced different light sources.

A bit of positive dehaze helped to bring out details in the vegetation under the ice.
