Preening ....

It has been cold again today but also brighter (and longer !).  

I headed out for one of my regular "neighbourhood" walks this afternoon -  a circuit which takes me past the Cuilc and then up to Moulin.  In addition to enjoying the fresh air and exercise, I enjoy passing and greeting fellow walkers and occasionally meeting someone I know and so stopping for a chat.  Today I had two such encounters which I enjoyed. 

Earlier in the day I had my regular fortnightly poetry zoom. Today we each selected one poem on the theme of Christmas.  My choice was Queen o' the Bean by Gerda Stevenson (which my fellow book group members on blip may remember).
