Shadows and sunshine

Shadows and sunshine by the Dulnain Bridge limekilns. A few moments later we were rewarded by a gracefully gliding kite just ahead of us. A cold still day, the frost never lifted in sunless places. It was hard to reconcile the peaceful beauty of the Strath with the state of the nation in the throes of the perfect storm of Brexit and Covid.
