Botanics light night

Two little girls in awe.
We were so lucky to be at the Botanics tonight. A lovely crisp dry night after some really wet days. This was Kathryn's birthday treat. The lights were wonderful, but when the girls came through the archway and spotted Santa they were off like a shot. We were the first of a group to get there so they had time on their own with him before other children arrived. Isobel was quite spellbound. He was a lovely Santa, well done to the Botanics for finding him with time in his busy schedule. It reminded me of what the magic of Christmas is about, for children.
There were lots of high spots I'll try to put some extras in tomorrow, but for now I'm off to bed.
