Freedom

Our freedom from self isolation finished at 14.01 this afternoon when we both received a text with a negative result. As we arrived home last Tuesday, our fifth day was Sunday and the kits aren’t allowed to be sent out until the fifth day so in our case this was Monday as there was no post on Sunday. If we hadn’t been near enough to drop them off yesterday afternoon, that would have been another day wasted but fortunately we received our results  exactly 24 hours after dropping them off so a good result but today is day 8 for us so not a lot of saving but still worth it.
We celebrated by going for a quick walk into town to buy a few items of food. A quick shot taken along the sea front, I didn’t linger and there were much bigger waves around. We got a bit wet but didn’t care after being locked up for 7 1/2 days. We do like to be able to stretch our legs. My heart rate must have gone up after I did the test yesterday as my Fitbit showed moderate exercise for the next half an hour and I was only in the house sorting out the paperwork that accompanied the test.
