Thats Christmas Lunch Sorted!

Having prepped the goose, stuffed and ready; made the stuffing balls; completed the prunes in Armagnac accompaniment, it was time to get the sprouts.  This was one of the six plants taken at random from the veg patch.  1.1 metres long, with 1.28kgs of sprouts when removed from the stalk (see extra pic).  Mrs SoL wanted to ensure that we had ‘left-overs’ of the sprouts and had suggested that 2 plants might be ok.  Right now, I’m glad that I stopped at the one.
Time for my last Christmas Beer from the advent beer calendar.....
