One can never have too many hats...

I spied a post on Facebook this morning that one of my first millinery teachers from Atelier millinery in London was retiring and selling off some of her hats as moving continents.  So I rapidly went to eBay and purchased these at ‘buy it now’ prices, and it came to exactly the sum of the invoice for yesterday’s work.  
So I am not quite as grumpy as I was having spent all yesterday sewing! 
The two on the right are original vintage ones,  the two on the left are ones she has made, and I actually remember her demonstrating ‘blocking corners’ on the square ones.
I let her know that they were going to a very good home, and she remembered me, and was very pleased!
